BARRE, Vt. — Rookie late model racer Kaiden Fisher used a late-race restart to grab the lead and held on to win the main event Thursday night at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl.
Fisher, whose father Jamie, is a past winner at the quarter-mile asphalt oval, led Brandon Lanphear to the checkered flag.
Kyle Pembroke finished third, with Nick Sweet and Chip Grenier filling the top five.
Chris Davis held off teammate Jeffrey Martin to win the 25-lap street stock feature.
Jason Pelkey won the Flying Tiger feature and Ryan Sayers topped the road warrior main event.
