CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Larry Wight banked $2,000 for winning the big-block modified headliner during the 59th season opener at Land of Legends Raceway.
Wight topped the 30-lap main event ahead of Justin Haers, with Peter Britten, Matt Sheppard and Danny Johnson rounding out the top five.
Karl Comfort claimed the sportsman modified feature and Darryl Ruggles won the 305 sprint car race.
Josh Pangrazio (street stocks), Greenley George (Legend sportsman) and Wayne Ellison (hobby stocks) also claimed victories.
