BREWERTON, N.Y. — Jackson Gill started outside the front row and held off the charges of Tim Sears Jr. to win Friday night’s modified feature at Brewerton Speedway.
Sears started 13th and ran down Gill, but could not make a pass for the lead during the 35-lap event on the quarter-mile track.
Max Hill, Chris Hile and Matt Caprara rounded out the top five.
Cody Manitta started seventh and won the sportsman feature.
Joseph Garafolo rced from eighth to win the Mod Lite main event, Chris Bonoffski won the four-cylinder race and Samuel Hubbard aced the 600 modified headliner.
