LA FARGEVILLE, N.Y. – Tim Fuller notched his third Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTcar 358 Modified victory of the season on Friday at Can Am Speedway.
Preston Forbes would lead the opening 11 laps with Lance Willix, Jeff Sykes, Fuller and Scott Webb filling out the top five. After a couple of quick caution flags, Forbes would have Lance Willix to his outside on the restart along with Tim Fuller, who had charged to 3rd.
On the restart Fuller made his way by Willix using the inside lane, taking 2nd. He then ran down Preston Forbes and took the lead on lap 12. From this point forward it was a driving clinic as Fuller pulled away while Willix and Forbes tried to catch the defending champion.
On this night it was Fuller who brought home the victory. Willix, Forbes, Ryan Bartlett and Shaun Shaw completed the top five.
The FABCO DIRTcar Pro Stocks were making their first appearance in over a month, and it was Eli Gilbert taking the win.Â
Jordan Bennett earned his second win of the season, after winning the Panther Frameworx 602 Crate Sprint car feature.
Scoring his second win in four starts at Can Am, Jock Symonds won the Marsha Gibbons TLC Real Estate Thundercar feature.
Tyler Stevenson single handedly won the Bob Johnson Auto Group DIRTcar Sportsman feature, after winning the feature with a broken hand.t
The Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman feature went to Paul DeRuyter, as won for the third straight time.Â
