FONDA, N.Y. — Stewart Friesen banked $4,000 for winning Saturday night’s Thunder on the Thruway modified feature at Fonda Speedway.
Friesen took the lead from Rocky Warner on lap 25 and led the remainder of the 30-lap event for his fourth victory of the season and the 83rd of his career at Fonda.
Warner finished second, with Demetrious Drellos, Jessica Friesen and Ronnie Johnson rounding out the top five.
Chad Edwards topped the 25-lap 602 crate sportsman main event. It was his sixth victory of the season.
Beau Ballard grabbed his second win of the year in the pro stock division and Zach Duffel won the limited sportsman main event.
