BARRE, Vt. — Stephen Donahue drove to his second late model victory of the season Thursday night at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl.
A turn-three melee on the first lap brought the caution and ended the day for several teams. Following a lengthy clean-up, Chris Roberts jumped into the lead with Stephen Donahue and Marcel Gravel in hot pursuit.
Jason Corliss and Brandon Lanphear also worked the high-groove and tested the waters for future maneuvers. Stephen Donahue powered past Roberts at the halfway point and never looked back for his second win of the season followed by Chris Roberts and Jason Corliss at the line.
Brandon Gray topped the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 championship round for the Flying Tiger class, beating Logan Powers to the checkered flag.
Terry Pearce Jr. won the street stock feature and Cayden Green claimed the road warrior main event.
