DUNDEE, N.Y. — Not wasting any time, Outlaw Speedway has released the 2023 schedule.
“Generally, I try and get the race schedule out prior to the first of the year so that teams and fans can make their plans for the upcoming season,” Outlaw Speedway Owner/Promoter Tyler Siri said. ” 2023 will mark my eighth season owning the track and this upcoming year could be our best with a mix of specials for all the weekly classes plus several touring groups.”
In what has become a tradition since taking ownership of the historic Yates County oval, Siri will once again highlight such events like the Cal Lane Memorial Spring Nationals, Steve Kent Memorial Summer Nationals and the Outlaw Fall Nationals along with the lid lifter Lucas Nationals and the season ending Dutch Hoag Memorial.
Sandwiched in between is a host of many special events, including a pair of Tezos FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint car events on May 18 and on NASCAR Night, August 18.
The Short Track Super Series will return for an event on June 6 and the RUSH Crate Late Models will visit the Finger Lakes Region by invading Outlaw on May 26 to open Memorial Day Weekend.
With the demise of the Patriot Sprint Tour at the end of 2022, Siri will adjust by booking the Empire Super Sprints numerous times throughout the season.
CRSA Sprints and the ULMS Super Late Models will be on the schedule as well.
Other tribute events throughout the season include Roy Silvers, Mike Jackson, Gary Montgomery, Gene Dupuy and Dave Machuga.
The season will officially kick off with the Outlaw Speedway/Woodhull Raceway Arnot Mall Car Show on March 10-12.
The first practice night is set for April 1, and from there it is full speed ahead as Outlaw Speedway will begin its 66th consecutive season of action.
