KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Sprint car star Tyler Roahrig put on a show in an outlaw super late model Friday night at Kalamazoo Speedway.
Roahrig started 18th and charged through the field to win the Intimidator 100 to open the season at the historic quarter-mile asphalt track.
Roahrig drove his No. 24 machine under the checkered flag ahead of 16th starter Steve Needels.
Adam Terry, Phil Bozell and T.K. Whitman completed the top five.
Billy Shannon raced from 10th to win the 30-lap late model feature, while Jeff Ganus topped the outlaw limited late model main event.
Alex Sexton won the street stock feature.
