JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Paul Nienhiser captured the victory Sunday night in 410 sprint car action at the quarter-mile Jacksonville Speedway dirt track.
Nienhiser charged forward from the fifth starting position and eventually made the winning pass on lap 14, when he got around Robbie Standridge to take command for good.
Joe B. Miller crossed second, with polesitter Zach Daum – who led the first four circuits of the 25-lap main event – taking the final step on the podium.
Jacob Patton was fourth and Standridge faded in the second half to a fifth-place finish.
