CLEARFIELD, Pa. — The third annual Rumble in the Valley by Phillips Motorsports was held Sunday at Hidden Valley Speedway with a smaller than anticipated car count due to the inclement weather forcing the race to be held on Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday.
The winner of the Vintage Open Modified feature was Andy Cassell. Scott Peters won the Vintage Sportsman Modified feature, while Les Scrivens picked up the win in the Vintage OEM Stock Cars.
In the regular divisions, due to the race being a non-point event, and on a Sunday, the counts were also down, but four new winners graced victory lane, including: Brad Benton in the Semi Lates, Trent Ogden in the Small Block Modifieds, Ryan Lippert in the Little’s Drive In Four Cylinders and Draven Reid in the Junior Four Cylinders. Brandon Connor was the lone repeat winner in the Penn-Ohio Pro Stock/Pure Stock feature, as the two classes opted to just run a feature together.
