Hidden Valley’s Condon Memorial Goes To Holden

CLEARFIELD, Pa. — Jimmy Holden picked up the Karen Condon Memorial for the Small Block Modifieds Friday night at Hidden Valley Speedway, while Joe Loffredo picked up his first Semi Late feature win of the season.

Other new winners include Ryan Shaffner and Tyler Rougeux pick up Pure Stocks feature wins.

Repeat winners included: Fuzzy Fields in the Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks, Luke Hoffner and Ryan Lippert in the Little’s Drive In Four Cylinders, Dakota Shugarts picked up the win in the Junior Four Cylinders while Lindsey McClellan won the Aquaholic Four Cylinder Powder Puff race and Kyler Kephart won the Four Cylinder Mechanics race.

Karen Condon was an employee of Hidden Valley Speedway when she passed away unexpectedly in 2021. She was a huge race fan who would travel across Central Pennsylvania to catch a race and she was friends with many drivers. Condon was well loved by many and she is missed by all of those who knew her. This race helps keep her memory alive and we can only hope to see it grow well into the future.

The Karen Condon Memorial/Mountain Top Challenge was led to the green by Craig Casher and Holden.

It’s never good to put any car owned by Mike Stine on the front row, because Stine builds a great car and Holden put it into the lead at the start and he never gave up the lead, as he held off Casher most of the race, when his son, Hayden moved into second with just two laps to go, but the older Holden was too tough to, as he went on to pick up his fifth win of the season.

Hayden Holden was second with Casher third, Levi Picard won a hard-fought battle for fourth and Shannon Casher was fifth. Holden won the heat.
