SHERRILLS FORD, N.C. – JJL Motorsports has announced that Visit Kingsport will return as the co-primary sponsor for Jesse Little in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series UNOH 200 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Aug. 15.
Visit Kingsport’s partnership with Little will promote the city’s “Get Into the Outdoors” campaign.
“I’m really looking forward to having Visit Kingsport back on our truck for Bristol,” said Little. “Bristol is one of my favorite race tracks and to have the support of a local partner makes the race that much important not only for me, but for our JJL Motorsports team.
To help promote the partnership, Little and Visit Kingsport will have their No. 97 JJL Motorsports Ford F-150 on display at the Kingsport Race Party in conjunction with the World Long Drive Tour event on Aug. 12, where the duo will also announce the winners of their social media promotion.
Three winners and a guest will have an opportunity to join Little and his team on the sidelines for a night in Thunder Valley.
“We are proud to partner with Jesse Little and the JJL Motorsports team again this year as the NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series takes on The Last Great Colosseum,” said Jud Teague, Executive Director for Visit Kingsport. “We’re excited to kick off race week with Jesse and his team at the Kingsport Race Party and we hope race fans and first timers alike will take in the UNOH 200 and extend their stay to enjoy all of the racing action and discover all that Kingsport and our region have to offer.”
JJL Motorsports also announced that Skuttle Tight, a Willmar, Minn.-based manufacturer of attic access systems, will also serve as a co-primary marketing partner for Little during the 17th Truck Series race of the season.
Little, a NASCAR Next alumnus, will make his 30th career NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start at the World’s Fastest-Half Mile, as well as his fourth start overall at Bristol.
The son of former Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Chad Little, Jesse Little is a former pole winner at Bristol, doing so with the K&N Pro Series East in April of 2015.
