RICHMOND, Va. – The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series will return to Richmond Raceway Thursday night after more than a decade away, with Austin Hill leading the field to green.
Hill aced the performance-based lineup matrix thanks to a score of 2.3, with the third-fastest lap and a third-place finish from Darlington (S.C.) Raceway last weekend combined with Hill’s current lead ranking in the Truck Series point standings.
Darlington winner Ben Rhodes will flank Hill on the front row, followed by rookie Christian Eckes, past champion Brett Moffitt and veteran Grant Enfinger in the lineup order.
Derek Kraus, Raphael Lessard, Todd Gilliland, Zane Smith and Matt Crafton fill out the top 10 on the grid. Johnny Sauter, in a must-win situation to make the playoffs, starts 20th.

Thursday’s ToyotaCare 250 takes the green flag at 8 p.m. ET, with live coverage on FS1, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
