LAKE WALES, Fla. – After a four-year hiatus from behind the wheel, DGM Racing co-owner Mario Gosselin has announced plans to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway on Feb. 13.
Gosselin will pilot the No. 91 AP Sports Regimen Chevrolet fielded by DGM Racing. His car will be one of four entries fielded by DGM Racing in the event.
“I’m living the dream,” said Gosselin. “I have worked with these drivers from behind the wall week in and week out for years, now I get the opportunity to have it come full circle and go out and have some fun on track with them. We joke about racing each other quite a bit and now it’s actually coming to fruition thanks to AP Sports Regimen and Caesar Bacarella.”
Gosselin is looking to outdo 15th-place finish in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition at Daytona Int’l Speedway, which came in 2015.
Gosselin has not finalized plans to run the remainder of the Xfinity Series season, but said he is open to the idea should funding become available.
