    The second day of the Roar Before The Rolex 24 test session at Daytona Int’l Speedway was delayed by an unlikely culprit Saturday — snow. Despite this, Michael Valiante recorded the fastest lap of the day in the No. 6 Michael Shank Racing Ford Riley, 1:41.237 (126.594 mph), to lead the Daytona Prototypes. Leh Keen was fastest in GT practice in the No. 41 Dempsey Racing/Team Seattle Mazda RX-8, 1:49.214, set late in the night practice session.

    Greg Biffle will drive a limited schedule in the NASCAR Nationwide Series behind the wheel of the No. 27 Baker Curb Racing Ford with sponsorship from Red Man Moist Snuff this season.

    Trip Bruce has resigned a crew chief of the No. 66 Rusty Wallace Racing Toyota driven by Steven Wallace in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He will be replaced by Scott McDougall. Elsewhere, RWR confirmed Brendan Gaughn will return for the full NASCAR Nationwide schedule this year.
