IRVINE, Calif. – MotoAmerica has announced that HONOS has signed on as a the title sponsor of the MotoAmerica HONOS Superbike Series.
“We are extremely honored to be sponsoring this year’s Superbike class as title sponsor,” said HONOS Brand Manager, Alonso Benavidez. “As a company, we have been making strides to get here and work side-by-side with a world-class organization like MotoAmerica. This year will be unique in many ways due to current global events, but our brand, along with MotoAmerica, looks forward to paving the way in having a very safe and successful championship.”
HONOS is a performance gear and apparel company that promotes talent within the motorsports world and other adrenaline sports. HONOS sponsors 2017 MotoAmerica Superbike champion Toni Elias and the HONOS Kawasaki team featuring Richie Escalante in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship.
“We got to know the people at HONOS a few years ago and they’ve always been very supportive of MotoAmerica,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “We’re excited to have them as the title sponsor of our premier HONOS Superbike class. Their brand is a great fit for MotoAmerica and vice versa. We are finally getting back to racing this coming weekend at Road America and it’s great to be starting the year with HONOS on board.”
The MotoAmerica Series season consists of 10 rounds across the country with the series set to begin at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., May 29-31. The series will conclude at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, Nov. 13-15.
