HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Harrison Burton will remain with Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series next year.
The news was revealed via a Tweet by Joe Gibbs Racing Friday afternoon.

Burton, 20, recently completed his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Joe Gibbs Racing. He earned his first series victory early in the season at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., and added three more victories at Florida’s Homestead-Miami Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
He ended the season ranked eighth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings with four victories, 15 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes. He’ll join Brandon Jones and Daniel Hemric as part of Joe Gibbs Racing’s NASCAR Xfinity Series program next year.
He is the son of NASCAR Cup Series veteran Jeff Burton and the nephew of Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton.
