PENSACOLA, Fla. – Just days ahead of the Daytona TT presented by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, D&D Cycles and FlatTrack.com have announced plans to field an entry in the Roof Systems AFT Singles presented by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys class.
Dalton Gauthier, the winner of the original Daytona TT in 2017, will be making a return to American Flat Track for the upcoming season.
After successfully completing AFT’s Road to Recovery program, Gauthier is clear to return. The 20-year-old rider from Pennsylvania was informed that he would once again be eligible to compete with one day remaining to apply for his Roof Systems AFT Singles license and enter the Daytona TT presented by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
“I’m really happy to be back at the races and to be riding for D&D Cycles with Rob Mclendon as my tuner,” said Gauthier. “I have put in a lot of work during the off season by doing more riding, and stepping up my training. I’m very grateful to have support from the people in my corner and on my team.”
“Dalton called up late last year wanting to get back on track,” said Rob Mclendon of D&D Cycles. “We made a deal that if he gave me 110%, I would do the same and take him racing. I’ve never seen a rider more motivated to get back on track and get back to winning. We couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to return to American Flat Track.”
Additional partners for the season include Arai Helmets, Gobert Smash, Dodge Bros, NJK leathers, Castrol, Lightshoe, Evans, Motion Pro, Seafood Atlantic, Pro Plates and Lonesome Losers.
