TALLADEGA, Ala. – NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series point leader Sheldon Creed will have the best view at the start of Saturday’s Chevrolet Silverado 250.
Creed will bring the field to green at Talladega Superspeedway as the polesitter, earning the honor thanks to NASCAR’s performance-based qualifying matrix.
The GMS Racing driver took the top spot with a score of 1.65, by way of his point-leading status, runner-up finish from Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway and second-fastest lap from that event.
Creed will be flanked on the front row by Las Vegas winner Austin Hill, with Zane Smith, Grant Enfinger and Chandler Smith filling out the top-five starting spots.
Rolling off sixth through 11th are Christian Eckes, Matt Crafton, Brett Moffitt, Tyler Ankrum, Todd Gilliland and Ben Rhodes.
Tanner Gray starts best among the non-playoff drivers on the outside of row six in 12th.
