VALENCIA, Spain – NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and Circuit Ricardo Tormo officials have signed a five-year contract extension that will bring the European NASCAR Series to Valencia, Spain, until at least 2024.
The agreement with Circuit Ricardo Tormo is the latest of a series of contract extensions giving the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series long-term stability. The partnerships with Brands Hatch, Zolder and Hockenheim have all been been prolonged and series officialsalso extended its contract with title sponsor Whelen Engineering through 2024. New official tire supplier General Tire is also signed through 2024.

Circuit Ricardo Tormo is an amazing facility which provides a wonderful experience to race fans and a fantastic playground to our competitors,” said NASCAR Whelen Euro Series President CEO Jerome Galpin. “The organization crew is extremely professional and it’s a true pleasure to work with them. Year after year the NASCAR GP Spain never stops to get bigger and better and we will all work to continue this way.”
The Valencia NASCAR Fest at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo has been the opening round of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series since 2014 and the event has steadily gained popularity among Spanish fans.
“The event never ceased to improve and the organization made it grow with an increasing media coverage, technical parity, better teams and drivers… they just became the perfect partner and we want to have them at the Circuit for a long time,” said Gonzalo Gobert, General Manager of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, who considers NASCAR as an international benchmark in motorsports.
