AVONDALE, Ariz. – Christopher Bell earned his first NASCR Xfinity Series pole of the season Saturday at ISM Raceway.
Bell, driving the No. 20 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing, earned the top spot in Xfinity Series qualifying Saturday with a best lap of 26.871 seconds at 133.973 mph. It’s the seventh pole of his Xfinity Series career.
He’ll be joined on the front row by reigning NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Tyler Reddick, who qualified second with a best lap of 26.892 seconds at 133.869 mph aboard his No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro.
Kyle Busch, who the most recent Xfinity Series event last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will start third in the No. 18 Toyota Supra. Cole Custer was the fastest Ford competitor in the field after qualifying fourth, followed by Daytona Xfinity Series winner Michael Annett in fifth.
Rookie Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, Ryan Truex and Justin Haley completed the top-10 in Xfinity Series qualifying.
Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series iK9 Service Dog 200 is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EST and will be televised on FS1.
