TOLEDO, Ohio – Johnny VanDoorn was the class of the field in the ARCA/CRA Super Series portion of Saturday’s Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway.
Two quick yellows and a lap 30 red flag slowed the action in the 100-lap feature, but when the race resumed the final 70 laps were clean and green.
VanDoorn motored away from the field as he zoomed to the win over Crump, Josh Brock, Brian Campbell and Dalton Zehr.
In other action, Canadian Cayden Lapcevich topped the ARCA Gold Cup Series outlaw-bodied late model feature over Kyle Crump, J.R. Roahrig, Brian Bergakker and Mike Root.
Bergakker sealed the championship for the ARCA Gold Cup Series, but had to wheel Kalamazoo track champ Adam Terry’s machine when his No. 30 had mechanical issues.
Chase Burda led every lap in the Jim Hettinger Memorial CRA Jr. Late Model feature on the quarter-mile oval. Luke Wilhelm, Charlie Keeven, Zack Wilhem, Katelyn Hettinger and Evan Varney were next in line at the finish.
