ANDERSON, Ind. — ASA STARS National Tour rookie Kyle Steckly earned his first signature super late model victory, winning the prestigious 58th annual Redbud 400 at Anderson Speedway.
The Ontario driver powered past Austin Nason on lap 336, and put on a show for the fans in attendance in leading the final 63 circuits on the tight Anderson quarter-mile oval.
Steckly becomes the third Canadian driver to win the Redbud 400, and second in a row (Cole Butcher – 2023) Junior Hanley won in 2004.
Nason finished second after leading the race on three separate occasions. The runner-up finish marks Nason’s best in 16 ASA STARS National Tour Events.
Gio Ruggiero placed third, followed by Derek Kraus and Billy Van Meter.
