CORDELE, Ga. — Gio Ruggiero will start on the pole for Saturday’s super late model feature during the annual Speedfest event at Crisp Motorsports Park’s Watermelon Capital Speedway.
Ruggiero was the fourth fastest qualifier, but drew the top spot in a re-draw of the top eight qualifiers. He will share the front row for the 150-lap event with Jake Garcia, who qualified sixth.
Bubba Pollard, who was fifth quick, and fast-qualifier Corey Heim will share the second row.
William Sawalich and Carson Hocevar will start on row three.
William Byron starts eighth, Johnny Sauter 11th and Chase Elliott 15th in the 26-car field.
Katie Hettinger will start on the pole for the pro late model main event.
