On Wednesday night, Gio Ruggiero became the first driver to visit victory lane a second time during this year’s running of the World Series of Asphalt.
Ruggiero started alongside Donnie Wilson Motorsports teammate Brent Crews on the front row of the 19-car field. He then made quick work of the No. 24 and took the lead in turn one.Â
Ruggiero led every lap in his No. 22 super late model, while Crews finished second.Â
