Pollard Is A Pro Late Model Master

MILLINGTON, Tenn. – Bubba Pollard made the late decision to compete in the Masters of the Pros 125 at Memphis Int’l Raceway pay off in a big way Sunday afternoon.

Pollard, in his first race at the Tennessee track, bested Willie Allen to win the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour pro late model event for the second time in his career.

Allen and Pollard battled for the lead after a restart on lap 73, but Pollard came out on top and drove to the $10,000 victory.

Carson Hocevar, fresh off a top-five in ARCA Menards Series competition earlier in the weekend, finished third. Jake Garcia and Sammy Smith completed the top-five.
