ALTAMAHAW, N.C. — It was a Kvapil family affair Friday night at Ace Speedway.
Carson Kvapil claimed the zMAX CARS Tour late model stock feature, while his brother Caden won the pro late model feature.
Carson Kvapil started eighth in the 125-lap event on the quarter-mile race track and steadily worked his way forward, taking the lead from Ryan Millington with 23 laps remaining.
From there, he led the rest of the way, holding off Brenden Queen for the victory.
Millington finished third, with Bobby McCarty and Chad McCumbee completing the top five.
Caden Kvapil led all 100 laps to win the pro late model feature, with Spencer Davis finishing second.
