INVERNESS, Fla. – Ty Majeski dominated the debut of the SRL National tour, leading all 125 laps of Saturday’s inaugural race at Citrus County Speedway.
The victory was worth $15,000 for Majeski, who held off Georgia’s Bubba Pollard throughout the race to earn the payday. The triumph for Majeski came just days after it was confirmed he’d contest the entire NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule for ThorSport Racing.
Majeski set fast time in qualifying and, after a redraw, started from the outside pole. He took the lead on the opening lap and held off Pollard on multiple restarts to pick up the $15,000 payday.
Pollard settled for second, with Anthony Cataldi, George Gorham Jr. and Derek Griffith completing the top-five finishers.
