TUCSON, Ariz. — Jacob Gomes continued his mastery over the Spears SRL Southwest Tour super late model series Saturday night at Tucson Speedway.
Gomes took the lead from John Moore following the lap-77 break and led the remainder of the JM Environmental Wild West Shootout Heatseeker 127 at the three-eighths-mile asphalt track.
Gomes earned $10,000 for what was his third victory of the season. His previous victories paid him $25,000 and $10,000, respectively.
Kole Raz finished second, with Sean Hingorani, Brandon Farrington and Moore rounding out the top five. The event was live-streamed by spearsracing.tv.
