Along with earning his first career super late model victory on Thursday night, Brent Crews also secured the World Series of Asphalt championship after a solid week at New Smyrna Speedway.
He earned a top-five finish in all five races at the half-mile track during the World Series.
Crews, driving the Donnie Wilson Motorsports No. 24, took the lead from Conner Jones on lap 52 and went on to collect the checkered flag by a three-second margin.
His victory allowed him to clinch the World Series title over teammate Gio Ruggiero, who finished third in the 100-lap race.
Meanwhile, Jones salvaged a runner-up in the Orange Blossom 100.
