MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Though the major ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway has been canceled, CARS Tour officials have announced that the Old North State Nationals will continue as scheduled on Oct. 17-18.
The event will offer a $75,000 purse, paying $30,000 to the winner and $1,250 to start the feature Oct. 18.
At this time, the event is to be held at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, N.C.
Should North Carolina remain in phase two of the state government’s Safer at Home restrictions through the weekend of Oct. 17-18, alternative plans are in place to hold the season finale for the late model stock cars of the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour at a different location.
