CARS Tour Adds Race At Franklin County

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour will make its debut at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, Va., on Aug. 22.

The race at Franklin County replaces the Puryear Tank Lines Mid-Atlantic Classic presented by Thrifty Tire, originally scheduled for the same date at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, N.C.

Both the Late Model Stock Cars and the Super Late Models will compete on the three-eighths mile track. The Super Late Models and Late Model Stock Cars will run twin 125-lap races.

“While it is unfortunate that we won’t be able to race at Orange County Speedway on Aug. 22, we are excited to bring the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour to Franklin County Speedway for the first time ever,” said CARS Tour President and Owner Jack McNelly. “The high banking at Franklin County makes the track incredibly fast for its size, and we look forward to putting on a show for the race fans in southwestern Virginia.”

All Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour events are broadcast live via Pit Row TV on CARSTour.TV. Pit Row TV is a SPEED SPORT TV affiliate.
