Campbell Debuting New Chassis At Motor City 200

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – Motor City Racing Promotions’ Motor City 200 is less than two months away and excitement continues to grow for the event.

Perhaps one of the most excited to get back to action at Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday, April 25, is Brian Campbell. In 16 starts, Campbell has racked up 10 wins in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, making him the all time winningest driver in Tour history.

However, he’s never won in a pro late model at Flat Rock Speedway. With a brand new chassis and history on the line, Campbell is looking to add to his impressive CRA resume.

Prior to CRA SpeedFest last month, Campbell appeared as a guest on Horsepower Happenings, and discussed the preparations of his new Senneker Performance chassis by his Lakeshore Motorsports team.

“Once we get back from Speedfest, we’ll get to work on the new car. Hopefully we can do some testing in March,” remarked Campbell.

Campbell is not shy about expressing his enjoyment of Flat Rock, and he is no stranger to victory lane. In 2015 he took home the third spot behind now two-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour champion Dan Leeck and Hunter Baize. He stood on top of the podium in 2017 when he outran Harold Fair Jr. and Raphael Lessard for the win. The difference however was that success came in the ARCA/CRA Super Series, not the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. If he can pick up the win on April 25, it will continue a legacy for Campbell.

Campbell was one of the first of a steadily growing list of drivers committed to the Motor City 200, and the historic honor of winning the event. Also on the card during the season-opener are the Victory Custom Trailers CRA Jr. Late Model Series and unsanctioned modifieds.
