NASHVILLE, Tenn. — T.J. Reaid edged Chase Elliott to conclude a dominant performance in winning the CRA Super Series-sanctioned All American 400 late-model event at Fairgrounds Speedway Saturday night.
Reaid started second, but drove into the lead entering the first turn. He led the rest of the way despite a late-race challenge from Elliott, who managed to get alongside Reaid coming to the checkered flag.
Elliott finished .082-second behind Reaid.
“This is the biggest race I have ever won,” Reaid said. “My crew chief, Chris Gabehart, won the last All American race here and we get to keep the guitar in the same house. They gave me a really good car. Everybody worked hard. They deserved to win.”
Ross Kenseth chased the lead duo home in third. Jeff Fultz and Brian Campbell filled the top five.
