ANDERSON, Ind. – Winged Outlaw Figure 8 Series (WOFS) officials announced the series has entered into a three-year agreement to have select WOFS events televised nationally.
Must See Racing will have exclusive rights to produce and distribute WOFS events through television and live streaming outlets through the 2016 season. Must See Racing has produced tape delayed televised events for the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) the last four years. MAVTV, FOX Sports, Comcast and Versus are a few of the television outlets the Must See Racing events have been produced for.
“This is a really good deal for our series” WOFS Co-Managing Partner Steve Little said. “It will give us a chance to showcase our brand of racing on a national level and give our guys the attention they deserve.”
The agreement appears to be a perfect match. The MSRXSS bills itself as the “World’s Fastest Short Track Cars” while the WOFS claims to have “The Fastest Figure 8 Cars in the World.” Must See Racing television now has two of the most unique forms of short track cars under its marketing umbrella.
“We are really looking forward to taking the WOFS events into the homes of race fans across the country. These guys bring it all – great cars, V8 power under the hoods, great racing and the complete insanity of the high speed figure eight format. You have to see it to believe how exciting, entertaining and outright frightening it is,” said Jim Hanks of Must See Racing television.
Details of the agreement haven’t been fully released but it is anticipated that select events will appear on national television beginning in 2014.
