LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A few weeks after announcing he will make his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Debut in 2013 with legendary crew chief Lee McCall, 15-year-old Louisville, Ky., native Ben Rhodes will drive the No. 41 Chevrolet for Hawk-McCall Motorsports in 22 events, racing the full 2013 UARA-STARS Late Model Stock tour as well as various NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events throughout the year.
The new pairing will begin this season as Rhodes will drive the No. 41 ride in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway Oct. 21 and the Myrtle Beach 400 Nov. 18.
Hawk-McCall Motorsports is the collaboration between Randy Hawkins, owner of AmPro Yamaha Factory Offroad Racing Team, and Lee McCall, a legendary fixture in motorsports with more than 26 years of experience, including being a winning crew chief in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
