MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series has announced plans to pay the winner of each event $10,000 beginning in 2013.
In addition, series officials have announced that the series will open the 2013 season with a trip to Dillon (S.C.) Motor Speedway on April 6.
The 2013 season will mark the second year of competition under the ownership of Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series President Jack McNelly as well as series title sponsor Revolution Oil.
“We are excited about next season and kicking things off at Dillon Motor Speedway. Track owner Ron Barfield and his group there are great to work with and the racing at Dillon’s egg shaped facility should make for an exciting start to the new year,” said McNelly. “We’ve increased our purse to $10,000 to win at every race next year, and with last season having had seven different winners throughout the year we expect the competition to increase across the board in 2013 for both old and new teams alike to take home a healthy amount of prize money.”
The series will continue their aggressive off-season promotion campaign as they head to Orlando, Fla., for the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show beginning Thursday through Saturday. Series officials will be on hand throughout the show in booth No. 4552 talking with follow industry leaders and answering questions in regards to the 2013 season.
