Bubba Pollard Bags Another Canadian Payday

HAGERSVILLE, Ontario – Bubba Pollard returned to Canada’s Jukasa Motor Speedway Monday intent on repeating as the winner of the Canadian Short Track Nationals.

Mission accomplished.

Pollard took the lead for the final time from Eddie MacDonald on lap 237 of the 250-lap super late model feature and pulled away to the victory, worth $75,000 (CAD), which is a little more than $56,000 USD.

The paycheck is the biggest of Pollard’s lengthy asphalt late model career.

MacDonald, a veteran American-Canadian Tour and NASCAR K&N Pro Series competitor, crossed the line in second but was disqualified in post-race technical inspection.

Canadian Matt Pritiko inherited the runner-up position as a result. J.R. Fitzpatrick finished third, followed by Colin Garrett and Brandon Watson.
