WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – As the anticipation builds for a new season of racing at Dells Raceway Park, Midwest Truck Series is already setting the bar high with a record breaking number of pre-entries for the Icebreaker 50 on April 10.
The Midwest Truck Series has 31 entries pre-registered set to compete when the season begins. James Swan leads the way as the defending and four-time champion of the series. Brad Mueller and other veterans such as Danny Darnell, Kevin Knuese, Kenny Joosten, Koby Hubred and Russ Hansen will be looking to put an end to Swan’s dominance at Dells Raceway Park.
Eleven rookies are also pre-entered, including Dillon Schwanbeck, Aaron Moyer, Kevin Berg and Nick Quinnell.
The Midwest Truck Series will be a part of a busy day of racing at Dells Raceway Park on April 10 as the season opens with the opening race of the Alive for Five Super Late Model Series. The Icebreaker 100 will feature the best Midwestern super late model competitors battling to begin the season in victory lane.
Fan Gates open at 11 a.m. with time trials at 12:30 p.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m.
General admission tickets can be purchased in advance or at the track box office on the day of the event. SPEED SPORT TV affiliate Pit Row TV will broadcast all the action from Dells Raceway Park live on April 10.
