CONCORD, N.C. — O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis will be among three race tracks returning to the 14-race USARacing Pro Cup Series schedule next season.
Also returning to the schedule are Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C., and Shenandoah (Va.) Speedway. North Carolina’s Rockingham Speedway and North Wilkesboro Speedway, which hosted one race each last year, will both play host to two races next year. The season finale will be held Nov. 5 at Rockingham.
Other venues on the schedule include Concord (N.C.) Speedway, New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., South Boston (Va.) Speedway, Greenville (S.C.) Pickens Speedway and Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va.
“We are excited to have O’Reilly Raceway Park, Shenandoah, Ace and Greenville-Pickens back on our schedule,” said Jimmy Wilson, USARacing Pro Cup Series director. “These tracks have been very successful for the Pro Cup Series in the past and I expect 2011 to be no different. Rockingham and North Wilkesboro were very successful in 2010. We are looking forward to building on the events at these historic track with the addition of a second date at each facility.”
Series officials plan to add two races to the schedule in the coming weeks.
