Tri-Track Open Modifieds Postpone Opener

SEEKONK, Mass. – The Tri-Track Open Modified Series has postponed its season opener that was scheduled for May 2 at New Hampshire’s Monadnock Speedway.

The state of New Hampshire has issued a stay-at-home order amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, forcing series officials to postpone the event. It has been rescheduled for May 9.

Below is the full statement from the series regarding the postponement:

“The Tri-Track Open Modified Series hopes each of you are healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. On Thursday, the state of New Hampshire issued a stay-at-home order for their residents through May 4, which directly impacts our season-opener, originally scheduled for May 2 at Monadnock Speedway. We will abide by the rulings of state government officials during this difficult time in the effort to keep everyone safe.  

“Therefore, we have postponed the opener at Monadnock Speedway until Saturday, May 9. This new date is tentative, as the COVID-19 situation is fluid and changing daily. Please stick with our social media channels for the latest information if there is to be any further updates.”
