Hoyt Conquers Miramichi Atlantic Modified Tour Foes

MIRAMICHI, New Brunswick – Joe Hoyt scored his first Atlantic Modified Tour win of the year Saturday evening at Speedway Miramichi, taking the win in the Fairley’s Sports Bar 35.

It is Hoyt’s first win since last season’s finale at the Douglastown, New Brunswick oval, which clinched the 2019 championship for Hoyt.

Kevin Bailey scored a season best with a second place finish while hometown favorite Travis Conroy matched his season best finish with a third place effort. Braxton Stafford and Zean Dutcher completed the top five in the 11-car field.

Yves McCray entered as the point leader but will see his point lead shrink after the fourth round of the Atlantic Modified Tour after a seventh place feature finish. Heat race victories went to Hoyt and Chris Wilson .
