Win-Tron, Mingus Eye Full ARCA Slate

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Win-Tron Racing plans to contest the full ARCA Racing Series schedule in 2013 with 18-year-old driver Mason Mingus behind the wheel of the No. 32 Toyota.

Mingus, in 13 previous ARCA starts, all for Win-Tron, has earned a career-best sixth place finish twice at Winchester and Salem Speedways in 2012.

“I’m looking forward to running the full schedule next season and having a shot at the championship,” said Mingus. “We’ve learned a lot this year and I think when February rolls around, everyone will see that we’ve learned even more and we’re going to be a serious threat in 2013.”

Call 811 Before You Dig and Diamond Equipment will return to the team for the 2013 season as associate marketing partners. The team has immediate openings for primary placement.

“We are very pleased to have Mason on-board for a full season in 2013,” said Nate Thiesse, co-car owner of Win-Tron Racing. “Mason has come a long way in an extremely short time and obviously this is just the beginning. With his focus and determination, we are expecting to be a threat all-season long.”

Former ARCA Racing Series championship crew chief Mark Rette will continue to oversee the team’s efforts.
