SALEM, Ind. – When the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards returns to Salem Speedway in 2014 a new name will grace both the spring and fall races.
Federated Auto Parts will serve as the title sponsor for the two ARCA Racing Series visits to the historic southern Indiana oval during the upcoming season.
“We’re certainly excited about the expanded roll Federated Auto Parts will be playing in two of our biggest races of the season at Salem”, said track general manager Richard Deaton. “We have long enjoyed a great partnership with Federated Auto Parts and we’re looking forward to the new involvement of this outstanding company.”
The Virginia based auto parts distributor has served as presenting sponsor of the fall ARCA race at Salem for a number of years.
Federated Auto Parts is a nationally known auto parts distribution network with over 4,000 auto parts stores across the country. Federated strives to provide both the trained professionals and the do-it-yourselfers with quality products that meet or exceed O.E.M. specifications and are made by America’s top automotive parts manufacturers.
The April 27 ARCA race at Salem will be called the Federated Auto Parts ARCA 200 and the Sept. 13 race will be known as the Federated Car Care ARCA Fall Classic.
The 2014 spring race will mark the 95th appearance of ARCA at Salem since debuting on the venerable half-mile oval in 1955. Over the years, no track has appeared on ARCA’s annual schedule more than Salem has.
Federated Auto Parts racing involvement encompasses a wide range of motorsports, including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ARCA Racing Series, USAC Silver Crown Series and World of Outlaws. Federated Auto Parts is also a longtime sponsor of Ken Schrader Racing.
