Jankowiak Reveals Sponsor For Talladega ARCA Event

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Thermal Foams Inc., a manufacturer of specialty foam products, will sponsor driver Andy Jankowiak and the AJ Racing Team during the upcoming ARCA Menards Series event at Talladega Superspeedway.

Thermal Foams Inc., based in Buffalo, N.Y., specializes in molded polystyrene foam and engineered insulated panel systems and is also one of the region’s largest stocking distributors of insulation and cushioning materials, as well as exterior insulation finishing systems products.

Jankowiak, the 32-year-old owner and driver hails from Tonawanda, N.Y., a suburb of Buffalo, where his family’s racing roots run deep for two generations. Jankowiak followed in the footsteps of his father, Tony Jankowiak, a former NASCAR modified competitor and champion of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Andy Jankowiak has experienced success in anything he’s driven, including wins on the Race of Champions Modified Tour and the prestigious Indoor Auto Racing Championship Series, where he’s won back-to-back titles in Atlantic City, the series’ crown jewel event.

Andy Jankowiak and the AJ Racing Team head into Talladega with high expectations after a an impressive debut in the ARCA Menards Series season opener, the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire at Daytona Int’l Speedway. He was second fastest in final practice, qualified 11th and finished eighth in his first ARCA Menards Series event.

“We certainly performed well as a team at Daytona,” said Andy Jankowiak. “I think we have everything we need to go compete for a win at Talladega, the car has awesome speed and the team really worked well together. We need partners to be able to make this all work and our new partnership with Thermal Foams Inc. means we will be able to go to Talladega and go compete for a win.
