Injury Sidelines ARCA Racer Gallagher

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Gallagher Motorsports officials announced today that 23-year-old Spencer Gallagher will forgo this weekend’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Scott 160 at Road America.

Gallagher endured a hard impact in last week’s ARCA event at Michigan Int’l Speedway after suffering a right front tire failure. After being evaluated by medical personnel at the track and in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nev., doctors have diagnosed Gallagher with a vestibular concussion, sidelining him from all racing activity.

Gallagher plans to meet with doctors next week, after undergoing a therapy regimen, for a reevaluation with hopes of returning to the seat for next week’s Herr’s Chase the Taste 200 at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway.
