CONCORD, N.C. – Sidelined for most of the last two seasons due to sponsorship woes, five-time ARCA winner Brennan Poole is set to make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards return on Friday at Pocono Raceway.

Poole, a native of The Woodlands, Texas, will make his first series start since 2013 driving the Venturini Motorsports prepared No.66 The Identical Movie Toyota in Friday’s ARCA ModSpace 125. In addition the team announced today that Poole will drive at Madison Int’l Speedway on Aug. 24 and both ARCA dirt races at Illinois State Fairgrounds (Springfield) (Aug. 17) and DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (Sept. 1). Poole holds the qualifying record at Pocono at 173.554 mph set in 2012.

“I can’t thank Venturini Motorsports, So Good! Entertainment and everybody on The Identical project enough. I’m truly blessed to have this opportunity,” said Poole. “Our team has ran very well at all four tracks and we are determined to build upon those successes. We want to bring home four trophies for the mantle.”

Earlier in the month, City of Peace Films and So Good! Entertainment entered into a strategic partnership with VMS to promote the upcoming Sept. 5 nationwide release of the film The Identical, starring Ashley Judd, Seth Green, Ray Liotta, Joe Pantoliano and lead singer Blake Rayne. This multi-tiered marketing plan utilizes VMS’s team strength to promote the feature film across several of the team cars and drivers including John Wes Townley, who’s been carrying The Identical movie graphics on both his ARCA and NASCAR Nationwide Zaxby’s cars since Chicagoland Speedway.
