MILLVILLE, N.J. – New Jersey Motorsports Park today announced its 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event date. The stock car series’ seventh annual visit to southern New Jersey is set for May 31-June 1, 2014.
“We’re happy to continue with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards as one of our traditional race weekends at NJMP,” said Brad Scott, general manager/COO of New Jersey Motorsports Park. “Each season, the racing during this event seems to get better and better, and we have some additional announcements, including this year’s support series, that will further enhance the weekend.”
New Jersey Motorsports Park will again offer free admission to children under 12-years-old for its major spectator events, including the early-summer ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards date.
Andrew Ranger has captured the series’ last three races in New Jersey, fending off drivers such as George Miedecke, Chase Elliott, and in 2013, Cherry Hill native Tom Hessert.
“The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has long been recognized for the diversity in the types of venues on the schedule. Having the New Jersey Motorsports Park road course on the schedule truly rounds out the full range of venues to include paved short tracks, superspeedways, intermediate tracks and the mile dirt state fairgrounds ovals,” said ARCA president Ron Drager.
“New Jersey Motorsports Park is a first-class facility and we’re honored to be included on their annual schedule.”
Additional announcements surrounding the May 31-June 1 race weekend are forthcoming, including the revealing of the supporting series lineup for this year’s event.
