CONCORD, N.C. – While he did not win a feature this week, Brad Sweet lowered his average finish to 5.024 and remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Sweet’s average finish has come over 41 starts, while David Gravel ranks second with a 5.707 average finish in 41 races.
With Carson Macedo third and Donny Schatz fourth, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series drivers fill the top four slots in the rankings. All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Tyler Courtney is fifth.
Fifty-nine drivers have reached 20-start requirement to be eligible for the rankings. Meanwhile, Giovanni Scelzi and Cory Eliason became the first two drivers to reach the 50-start plateau and can begin dropping their worst finishes.
Anthony Macri leads Freddie Rahmer by two points in the Eastern region standings. Dominic Scelzi remains atop the Western region.
Sweet leads the Mid-America region and Cole Macedo leads the Great Lakes region.
Justin Henderson tops the Great Plains region standings.
One hundred and 15 drivers have combined to win the 226 features run.
