Kyle Larson Getting Dirty In Florida

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Fresh off his victory in the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, Kyle Larson will return to dirt racing by competing in seven-straight nights of winged sprint car competition in Florida.

Larson will drive the No. 57 Silva Motorsports 410 sprint car for five nights during the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., on Feb. 5-9. The races on Feb. 5-6 will be sanctioned by the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions, while the races on Feb. 7-9 will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.

Following the DIRTcar Nationals, Larson will travel to East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Fla., to race in the Winter Nationals on Feb. 10-11 with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions. This will be Larson’s first visit to East Bay Raceway Park.

Larson has been on a tear as of late on dirt, winning not just the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, but also the Turkey Night Grand Prix, the Gateway Dirt Nationals and the Hangtown 100 aboard his own midget.

Larson will return to his day job as the driver of the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series on Feb. 9 when he competes in the Busch Clash at Daytona Int’l Speedway. That race is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and should not prevent him from racing at Volusia Speedway Park that evening.
